Peniche

Getting there: Transfer from Lisbon airport (about 1h15)

Base in Peniche. The peninsula's beaches face different directions, which helps to find good waves and wind almost every day, from Baleal to Supertubos.

1. Day 1 · Arrival in Peniche

   Transfer from Lisbon, check-in and a drive around the peninsula to get to know the beaches.

2. Day 2 · Baleal

   First session at Baleal, a sheltered bay, good for warming up and assessing everyone's level.

3. Day 3 · Reading the ocean

   Surf wherever conditions are best and, in the afternoon, a talk on forecasting: how to read swell, wind and tide.

4. Day 4 · Surf and Óbidos

   Morning session and an afternoon in the medieval town of Óbidos, about 20 minutes away.

5. Day 5 · Supertubos

   A day to surf or watch Supertubos, depending on each person's level and the size of the swell.

6. Day 6 · Nazaré (optional)

   If a big swell arrives, a trip to Nazaré to watch the waves at Praia do Norte, about 45 minutes away. If not, another day of surfing in Peniche.

7. Day 7 · Last session

   Last surf of the week and a late afternoon at Cabo Carvoeiro, with the cliffs and the view of the Berlengas islands.

8. Day 8 · Departure

   Check-out and transfer to Lisbon airport.
